Huroob is an employer’s report that a worker has left work without permission. You can check for it in your Absher record, in the labour ministry inquiry service or in Qiwa. Reports say a mistaken report can be cancelled by the employer within 15 days.
How to check
- Absher. Sign in, open your dashboard and more details, and read your employment and legal status. Labels such as Absent from Work or Restricted labor services can indicate a report. Absher does not always show the word Huroob.
- Labour ministry inquiry. The ministry offers an inquiry that works with your Iqama, border or passport number. Use only the official site.
- Qiwa. Open your employee profile and read the employment status. A message that you are not eligible for mobility is a warning sign.
What can happen
Depends on the case
Some labour and immigration services can be restricted. Depending on the case and current rules, consequences can include legal action, deportation or temporary re-entry restrictions. Do not take another job while a report is active.
